About Me
My name is Alex.
I live with my husband in a rental apartment in Munich.

My mom is my role model when it comes to tidiness. Eversince I can remember, my parent's house has always been tidy, no matter what state it is in. Even during a renovation, my mom was able to kept the place organized. So tidying and organizing has always been in my blood.
It's something I enjoy, and something I'd like to help others with, if needed.


About Not A Minimalist
A while ago I found Kondo Marie's book "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up". To live only with the things that one's love and enjoy is what I've been wanting to do for years, so her book really resonates with my heart.

I couldn't help to notice though, that not all of her methods are suitable for me. For example, not keeping your pay slip in paper form might come to a bad end, when you're living in Germany. So I've decided to try out Kondo Marie's methods, and adapt it to my own living situation. This blog is where I document what works, what doesn't, and what to do instead.

I chose the title because this blog is not about being a minimalist, but about living only with the stuff and style that I love. Also, since I want to share this blog with my international friends, I'll be writing in English, though it's not my first language.
